Z77 Mobo Selection

So I am picking up an i5-3570k and am having a hard time choosing a mobo. I am leaning towards a MSI 760 gpu and so I'm also leaning toward a MSI Z77 GD65 Gaming Mobo but all the other options out there leave me unsure. So any advice on good mobos for overclocking (preferably under $200 dollars) and gaming is welcome

p.s. MSI claims that using a MSI GPU and mobo together boosts performance, is this at all true?

Solution
Yes there is when u r o.c.in u need best quality vrams,solid capacitors,etc.
Get the pro board from asus its great for overclocking
Hyper 212 evo is good choice go with it
Motherboard: MSI Z77 MPOWER ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($169.99 @ Newegg)

Or

Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V PRO ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($169.99 @ Newegg)

Mai is more feature rich than the asus board but asus is best at quality
The pro is a good board and its the best u can get i wud not suggest msi as its been far behind asus gigabyte and asrock in sales due to less quality

Another board u can consider is asrock oc formula which is an e atx board with a water block already installed wud suggest this if u are gonna have a custom loop and a chassis that supports eatx boards
