My Dell 560 Inspirion started crashing this week. It's been running slow and still is. When it crashes the power light on the CPU turns from white to flashing orange and beeps. I power it down, wait 5 min and power it back up. That usually works, but it continues to run slowly. I ran diagnostics via a Dell on-line program to check hardware and everything came back fine. Any ideas?

Hi Majdeb

A problem like this is normally caused due to a component not allowing the system to POST. Consider reseating the components ( Memory, HDD, Graphic Card). Try turning on the PC without the graphic card. If the problem still persist consider replacing the mother board.

its your ram... its not compatible with your mainboard. i build hundreds of dell pc and got that problem (for my work). it mostly happends after a short time like a month or so... very weird. you can try put new ram in it or if it has 2 ram modules to just use 1 and look if that fix it if its still beeps try to put the other one back (that you first disconnected).
if not just buy new ram http://www.crucial.com/upgrade/Dell-memory/Inspiron+Des...

i hope this works i wish you luck

Oeps: your ram is compatible but if you did place new one that could be your problem
