  1. All, but there's really no point in getting an A85X board. Running CF/SLI on an APU is pointless, and a waste of the iGPU.

Get an A55 or A75 board, or go to a different socket.
  2. Get an A75 chipset bro. I have an A10 setup, it's worth Ocing the APU! :D Well if you have the money, you can still get the boards that you have listed. :)
  3. Doesn't mean the CPU is the best option though. Besides, there's little point to the A85X - no-one's going to use more than six SATA ports on an APU.

Can't find any answers as to whether you can OC on an A55 board.

If so, which socket you would recommend for better graphic performance-amd or intel?
  5. A dedicated GPU and either an FX-6350 or an i3-3220, at this price range.

Are you planning on going for a dGPU with the APU build?

Gaming is not my need. But good video performance and rare use of video rendering-this is my basic need.

At which point there's no reason for the A85X boards; I'd suggest an A75 mATX or an AM3+ board, FX-6350, and HD6450.
