Hey guys, I have decided to build my first rig and has been working fine for over a month. I decided to upgrade my case in an attempt to keep temperatures low, however after I have finished setting everything up my computer beeped twice, went to post, then almost immediately froze up, and the boot device led on the motherboard lit up and will not go away.
I have tried spamming the delete button to enter Bios but to no avail. I have cleared Cmos, Unplugged and Plugged EVERYTHING back appropriately. I replaced the Gpu, Processor, Psu, Hard drive, and Ram; all individually from a different computer and the Boot Device LED will still stay red.
I requested an Rma number from asus and the motherboard is currently going through inspection. While i have been waiting i ended up purchasing another one of the same motherboard because I wanted to make sure that it was for sure the motherboard and not anything else. (i am not planning on keeping it and will return it if my original motherboard is repaired) and i am still getting the same problem! I went through the same procedures with the new motherboard except for clearing bios and still...nothing.
