So I just bought a gtx 670 ftw 2gb edition, and I am getting dips into the 40's and 50's on ultra settings for BF3. It is really annoying and I hope you guys can help me! System specs:

Intel Core i5 3350p

4 Gb RAM

GTX 670 FTW 2GB

650w Power Supply

Windows 7 64 Bit Ultimate.

Please help!

It's the 2GB VRAM on your graphics card. I had similair problems with my GTX 770 with 2GB VRAM, every started to lag endlessly to hell after so many minutes and I swapped it out for a GTX 670 with 4GB of VRAM. Everything works as solid as can be.

It might be a Windows 8 problem that isn't optimalized yet to switch between RAM and VRAM or not beeing able to clear the VRAM without alot of headspace.

Your bottle neck could be your CPU or just change your settings. If you are running shadows at max turn them to high and / or change AA to 2 or off.
