Nvidia GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7870???

Hello guys.
I am looking to buy a graphic card but i just can't make up my mind between 660 and Hd 7870. I heard 7870 performs a bit better then 660 in some games. The games I am surely going to play are BF3, Hitman Absolution, some CoD games and probably gonna stream League of Legends. My PC Rig is

Intel i5 3470 - rs 11000
Gigabyte b75 d3h - rs 4100
Corsair vengance 4gb x2 -rs 4000
Wd cavier blue 500gb hd - rs 2900
Corsair cxv2 500w - rs 3500

So which of these would be good?

I've got an XFX ATI Radeon HD 7870 DD, and it's a great card ... of the product listed, it's your best bargain.

I would have gone with the 660ti ... until I saw that bit of 'false advertising' :lol: that jacked the price 20%+

The GTX760 being 30+% more just ain't worth it

(and, you only have to click the submit button once ...)

No problems, here.

I bumped the core clock to 1100MHz with the memory over 1300MHz using Afterburner --- never goes above 55c at load with the fan at 50%.

I suspect it would go higher but I don't want to mess with it right now. Too busy having fun :)

It's a solid card -aluminum shroud- and XFX customer support has handled my registration (and rebate) hassle-free.

The XFX card is Rs 16499 --- the GTX is pushing Rs 30000

The 7870 is similar enough in gaming (it trades back and forth with the 660 on a game by game basis) that i'd go with it. Some people have had problems with XFX cards, but i own 2 (one of them is the 7870 DD). If you're doing any accelerated stuff (besides CUDA) the OpenCL support is much better for the AMD cards. But the quality of the XFX stuff is fine in my books, i've had EVGA and Sapphire stuff too and i'd say it's on par with them.
