have you tried installed lastest realtek driver from realtek ? (uninstall all other sound drivers first).

have you gone into control panel and check you reraltek sound chip is your default audio device and that your pc is not trying to put sound out through you graphics card ?
when you tested the rear audio port did you plus into the green audio out ?
