I noticed in the photo that the cpu, heat sink, and ram slots are all so close together. Is this a recommended board and will my ARCTIC Freezer A30 Extreme CPU Cooler fit will this boards configuration?

Also, is this even a recommended board? I was actually planning on getting this (GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3) to save some money but my friend told me the ASUS board is worth the money.

What are your thoughts?

You should have no compatibility issues with this cooler. In regards to your other question it is a good motherboard but it depends on what your budget is on a motherboard, you can get some better motherboards at reasonable prices, but this obviously depends on your budget.

Which do you think would be better when it comes to heat dissipation? My CPU socket would get to hot at 4.4ghz(8150) which is currently preventing me from being clocked at that 4.4, my CPU stays fairly cool, just not the CPU socket. I currently have the GA990XA-UD3 no revision.

As far as budget, I don't want to spend more than $180, I would prefer the gigabyte price of $140.

Is there a way to just adjust the VCore with the sabertooth? I tried clocking the board based off a youtube video and just reading the little info it gives you when you hover, and yeah, fried my 8150 when using prime95. Kind of pisses me off, I would much prefer to just adjust vcore and be done with it like my old gigabyte board.
