So i know this is not a great quality psu but i got it in a bundle from newegg with my other parts.

FX 8350
XFX 7850 double d
ASUS m5a97 le r2.0
8 gigs of Corsair XMS 1600s
Hyper 212 +
Rosewill stallion 700w
1 TB seagate baracuda
Samsung 840 non-pro

My whole pc has been just shutting off randomly, no BSOD,and i have to turn the psu switch off for a couple seconds then back on before i can boot the pc. Did 3 passes of memtest on my ram, motherboard has visual defects, and hard drives are fine.

To the main problem. The big fan is bringing air into my case, but there appears to be no air flow from the back. I did the paper test but nothing. I can clearly feel that air is coming out of the psu into my case. There also does not appear to be a fan in the back of the psu.

Any ideas on either problem? Hardware monitor is showing pretty good temps, but to be safe i put bios at default , and stopped overclocking. Turned the ram back down to 1333 as well. I wanted to make sure there was no problem with my ssd ( i had gotten an error) So i installed windows on my HDD but it still powered off.

I thought maybe the psu was not getting enough air flow, so i turned my hyper 212 + so the fans are pointing down, rather than the back. ( The gpu is cool anyways, and i dont plan on overclocking it.) It appears to be less frequent but still occuring.

Btw the psu is top mounted on this crappy case i have until my CM HAF 912 comes in tommarrow.

I have also changed the dimm the ram module is in, but still did nothing.

Sorry for long post, but i could use some assistance. I just built the pc last monday and it has been good all except for this.

FYI and everyone else: I just looked that PSU up on the Underwriters Lab. certification list and there it is only rated to, hold on to your hats, 16amps on the 12V. Label on the PSU says 56.
You sure that air is coming out of your PSU into your case? The fan on the PSU is an intake fan: it should be sucking air in from the inside of your case and exhausting it out the back.
The case description says there is a 120mm rear exhaust fan. Is that the big fan you say is blowing air into the case?
If so, it is reversed and needs to be mounted so it is blowing air OUT of the case.
Keep in mind: Cool air should flow into the case from the front bottom (and sometimes from the side) and be blown out of the case at the top back and or top of the case. Heat rises. If you are using the rear fan as an intake there is no where for the hot air to go but up into the PSU, and everything at the bottom of the case will NOT get cooled.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
I would start by opening the side of the case and setting a house fan (desk or floor model) blowing air into the case, then try using the PC and see if it fails.
If it doesn't fail then it is a cooling issue.
You say you have a HAF 912 arriving tomorrow? That case will solve your problem if it is cooling.

If you try the above and the PC does fail, then SR-71 is probably correct; you may have a bad PSU. It happens. Should still be under warranty.
