Hi!
I built a computer about two years ago, it worked fine until four months ago, after a LAN the computer had a shutdown. I bought a new power supply and ever since then the computer have crashed only when playing games.
I have another computer that i switched parts with and after a while it seemed like the graphic card was the problem. I had a 560ti and switched it with a 460. The game ran smoother and the computer didn't crash. I bought a new card after, a 660. But after a while the computer still crashes, it does take a while longer though. I have checked with coretemp and the CPU doesn't get above 40¤c.
I have also switched the ram.
I have re installed the computer about a month ago.

Solution
then your motherboard or the cpu have the problem, if not the HDD has the problem. do you have a spare you could stick windows on temp and run a game from to check the hdd?
it sounds like it could be driver problems, to make sure you can do a clean install, download driver fusion and the latest nvidia drivers.

uninstall current driver and do not restart.
run driver fusion and clean nvidia drivers then restart.
install latest nvidia drivers.

see how this helps.

you could also grab ccleaner and do a file clean and run the registry cleaner multiple times until it finds no errors.

Drivers is not the solution, thanks anyhow. The computer acts like it's a hardware problem, it simply crashes, then restarts but fails and restarts again
