Did you replace a previous (nvidia) gpu?

Check your bios to be sure pcie is selected as default for video.

Make sure you are using the correct output on the video card that is complementary for your monitor.

My previous gpu was amd. Bios is auto pcie and I'm using a dvi-a to vga converter in the dvi-I slot so yeah. I'm convinced its dead so I'm currently looking for new Gpus. The hd7750 vtx low profile for 68£ (100 ish$) seems legit.
