Definitely go AMD CPU for anything related to video editing. FX-8350 is a great choice. Make sure you don't overspend on a mobo with an overclocking chipset (Intel). Spend the extra money on at least 16 GB of ram, the more RAM the better for video editing/rendering etc.

why did you go with a z77 board with an locke proccesor??
the whole point of z77 is overclocking and you cant with a locked cpu.
why didnt you go wit a fx-8350 in this build.
it does way better in video editing and photoshop.
sorry to say but for a decent vidoe editing rig you have to go 800+ atleast
not trying to be rude.
what is your budget?

About the same price, but includes an SSD boot drive, 16 GB of RAM, and a better graphics card (Hurry, 2 days left for that deal!).
