Question: What is the point of "full 100% modular" for a "gaming" system when there's no way ya can build a system without:

    24 Pin connector
    8 pin EPS
    1 SATA Cable
    1 PCI-E 3.0 cable

OK, if not gaming ya don't need the PCI-E cable, so why wouild you refuse a great PSU that had the other 3 hard wired when a hard wired connection is superior to the "modular" One ? Read the article below:

Modular connectors introduce a possible failure point, more expense, inefficiencies, slight voltage loss, corrosion point. Yes, absolutely I want modular connectors for the "optional" cables but I'll take hybrid modular...... where the absolutely essential cables are hard wired over 100% modular any day. It just makes a better PSU.....liek the Corsair HX850 (10.0 jonnnyguru performance rating). See pics here:

    750 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010
    650 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139012

Seasonix X Series versions of the above are full 100% modular .... which I why I buy the Corsairs.
  4. Here's the LIST of fully modular supplies available at Newegg.
