I have recently bought a ASUS M4A77T/USB3 motherboard and put it together howeber the memok flashes red I get past the bios screen to windows did not shut down correctly. When I select any of the options ie same mode, start from last known config or start windows normally the system restarts and the memok light flashes red and it repeats the same process can anyone please help I have tried everything from [lacing the DDR3 ram in the different slots and only putting one DDR3 ram in the slots. I don't have DDR3 ram from the QL list can this be the problem? or could it be the CPU overheating causing the system to restart after I press start windows normal? My processor is AMD SEMPRON 2.8G AM£ socket DDR3 is Rendition DDR3 SDRAM bus speed PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333) 2GB graphics card ATI Radeon HD 5450 2GB DDR3 PCIe HDMI DVI VGA Graphics Card. I appreciate any help to solve this problem.

Chances are the DRAM is not stable so you'll need to set it up manually. Set DRAM voltage and memory timings to the rated speed of the memory. You may also need to adjust CPU/NB voltage depending upon how the memory controller in your CPU "reacts" with the used memory.
