Hello guys! So i decided i will upgrade from my r7850 to gtx770. But i have a small problem, i dont know which card should i buy, i want to overclock it in future, i heard that EVGA have some problems with heating.

At first i wanted to buy ASUS GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5 but now i am thinking about EVGA GeForce GTX770 Superclocked ACX, i see there is only small difference between oc, but bigger in price.

Thanks for all answers!

I like both, I've got an EVGA 660TI in my Z77 and a Asus 7870 in my P67, in this spot, I think I'd lean towards the Asus....think it might have a little more OC headroom than the EVGA

I've got the new ASUS GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5 and would definitely recommend it. ASUS card is available now for $399.99 vs $419.99 for the EVGA SC with ACX.

My card is currently OC'd to 1220 Mhz boost clock and 7700 Mhz memory clock and hasn't gone above 74c during gaming or burn-in. So, more OC'ing room definitely available if you want to push it even higher... (I've seen 1260/8000 stable on several reviews at or below 80c.)

Finally, the ASUS DC2OC is a good looking card and comes with a back plate, if appearance matters to you. (You have to register your card to receive a back plate from EVGA and then install it yourself after they ship it to you.)

The Asus card uses higher quality, upgraded PCB components and comes with a backplate. The EVGA model is all reference under the ACX shroud.

Go here to read about Asus' custom components, which include a dust-free fan, upgraded "Super Alloy Power" components, an enhanced VRM power phase system, sealed chokes to prevent coil whine, and solid state Japanese caps.
