windows display quality

I ran Microsoft fix it for windows display quality but it massed it up-the monitor is not bright"dim", i have a CRT monitor.
Please tell me what i can do to bring the display back to what it was before.

There shoud be brighness controls on the monitor, use those. Or find the factory reset on the monitor to reset it back to default settings. Some power management features dim the monitor, check your power management settings and set them to full power. Your video options may have brightness and contrast controls as well, go into Control Panel and check those.
