Hello,
I'm trying to use the windows fax and scan program. I have my internet and home phone and cable tv here with cox which is through cable. I am going to explain our network situation first, there is a little box in one other rooms that the technician called ETM ot ETsomething which looks like a Motorola modem but a little thicker which has the cable going in and also connected to the phone line., and it looks like a modem because there are lights flashing on it, and we get cable tv our of that and our phone outlets are working and also I have a Motorola modem in my room which is connected to cable and then a router and from router to other users such as my PC, so now I wanted to use the windows fax and scan program and it says it required a modem, first thing that came into my mind one getting a small phone modem which connects to my home phone line and connects to my PC using USB, but I would like to know if there is anyway to connect to telephone using the current Motorola modem that's running my home network, I really appreciate your response,
