Hi, I have a usb2 device that works fine on my old usb2 only laptop but not my new usb3 only laptop. How can I resolve this. Both are running Windows 7 Home Premium. Thanks!

Solution
USB3 is fully backwards compatible with USB2 products.

Troubleshooting:
1) Try OTHER USB devices on your laptop and see how many work.

2) See if there is BIOS update for your laptop (it may resolve an issue).

3) Download any USB driver you find at your laptop support site and install it.
