Hi, I am posting this with a bit of haste due to being so busy currently, but I am finding (well, more like coming to terms with the fact) that my Dell computer from 4-5 years ago just doesn't cut it for gaming anymore. But I am also not well versed in building my own computer, so that is why I'm here.
What I have currently:
Intel i3-2100 CPU
GeForce 620 2GB Graphics Card
4GB DDR3 Ram
400W PSU
An older Compaq Presario SR2038x case (not sure if it will work)
250 GB Hardrive (came with Dell)

What I need (obviously):
Motherboard
Case (if needed?)
Recommended CD drive

Well...I just realized all I reallllly need is help finding a reputable motherboard! haha Any and all help would be awesome, thanks!

If i were you i'd build a new PC. If you going to get a new motherboard and case why not just build a new PC will all the up to date components? As for building a your very own PC, go for it. I did and never looked back. I'm glad that I built my own this time. Its not that hard.

I was just in the same boat your in. I tried to use parts from my old PC, but nothing would work on my new build. The only things i saved were a GT 610 im using until my EVGA 650ti boost gets here and a TP Link wireless card.

Would you want to OC the CPU?

I'm sure other more experienced forum members will chime in as well.
