Data Recovery from external drive with damaged head

Solution

I doubt it, especially if the read/write head scratched the platter. You could try taking it to a data recovery center, but it'll be costly. Whatever you read, never, ever, ever try and recover data by yourself unless you're a trained expert and your house has a clean room.
