7950 is just as stable as the 760. It does have GDDR5, and it performs very similar. Matter of fact, the 7950 is the better card when overclocked. This all becomes a great deal when you can find a 7950 below 240$.
If you can't afford a 8350 just get a 8320, you won't notice much of a difference.
Phenom IIx4 980s are a good deal now.

I don't recommend the 6300. Save up for a 8350 because the difference between the bulldozer 61XX and piledriver 63XX has no noticable difference and yet the price is higher.

With the 83XX the piledriver is clearly better than the 81XX bulldozer.

Lastly I say go for the GTX 760 (Gigabyte R2.0) instead of the 7950 because the 760 is more stable and in general more powerful for $50 less.

Get this, 7950 is 3GB, if you playing any heavily modded game, it should able to render in ease.

I really wouldn't buy the FX-6300 if I were you. Maybe try the FX-8320 then, it's 40 bucks cheaper than the 8350.
But definitely go for the 760 GTX!
