hey guys, i built my system back in 2012 around October, and recently and is occurring right now im so pissed that something bad is happening! My build is as follows-
i5 3570k
2gb Sapphire 7850 oc v2
ASRock z77 extreme 4 Mobo
Hyper 212 Evo
8GB Vengeance Ram
OCZ ZT Series 650w Modular PSU
WD Green 1 TB
And some other hdd as my boot because the hdd that i got shipped was faulty.
Its an annoying sound, cant really hear it when im gaming or listening to music but when i idle is so annoying. I keep thinking its one of the Hard drives bu the sound is not coming from there, not sure were its coming from. I lifted the the case about 2 cm up on the left side of the case and the noise seems to stop, which from that i think its the Power supply. Iv'e looked all over youtube and maybe 1 video had an identical sound, and it isnt very loud but is annoying
