Hi everyone,

I'm having some trouble with my HD 7870. When i play AC II, i have like 60 FPS all the time at max settings, but when i like turn around ezio, you do notice lags and fraps says it is 18 fps. This is only in the beginning of the game and after 10 minutes i can't find any lags anymore. I play everything at maxed settings.

I used to have a GTX 560 before, but i didn't have that problem with it, it just score 60 FPS all of the time without a lag.

A10-5800K @ 4,2GHz
Cooler Master B700 700Watt
ASRock FM2A85X Extreme4-M
MSI R7870 Twin Frozr III OC 2GB

thanks :)

Grab driver fusion and latest beta driver.

Uninstall current driver and don't restart.
Run driver fusion amd and nvidia driver cleaner then restart.
Install driver as custom and only install display and HDMI driver, untick everything else even catalyst control

See if this helps.

I'm not sure this is your graphic card's fault entirely. I guess the game needs to built up the environment in the beginning (until limit of drawing distance). What RAM do you have?

8GB of 1600MHz RAM. 2 x 2GB from Samsung and 1 x 4GB from Crucial.

Well you could try leaving only one type of ram and see if that would help. Doubt it though but easy to test
