Hi, I was playing League of Legends on my GTX 770 and I experienced frame drops to 19 fps and severe stuttering. I also heard a crashing sound that sounds like a drill into the wall.

I have searched this up and found it is caused by nvidia recently having bad drivers. Does the symptoms I have mentioned damage my graphics card?

Thank you for your input :)

Could the sound have been the fan going into full speed? If the card was heating up, it could affect the performance while it tries to remain cool - it will clock down to maintain (I think it's 80C) cool.

the max temperature the card reached was 49 degrees i am asking if the crashing sound like whenthe card is running then it sounded like it crashed through the speakers. I would like to know if it has caused any damage to the card because of them crappy nvidia driver.
