I loaded a DVD into my laptop but it wasn't reading correctly. When I ejected the tray it was empty so assume it has become stuck inside the laptop. Any ideas what to do next?

Solution
Usually, there is a screw on the bottom side holding down the DVD Drive. Find it, remove it, and the DVD drive can be removed. Tray type dvd writers top housing can easily be removed by removing several screws holding it down, so you should have no problem getting the disc out.
