i was looking at prebuilt pc's (i infact haven't bought mine yet) and i came across a
pc which has a super gpu and twice the storage of mine. is it worth extra 100 quid? it's also oc'd hgher than mine but does have some drawbacks.

top is mine

i dont like the keyboard and mouse on the prebuilt
7870xt vs gtx 680 super overclock. i dont like the look either.
mine has more usb ports.
it also comes with a smaller screen.
older cpu but higher o.c.
i also NEED the extra ram so dont say i dont need that much.

please tell me mine is better

Just price out the pre-built yourself and compare. If you can build it for less then the pre-built you will end up with a better system for less. Pretty much every component of that thing is 'better' though case, accessories, and monitor are more personal preference.

If you provide your budget, I'm sure someone could put together an even better system. (ISP is crapping out every five minutes or I would sit down and do it.)

i have come back with an UPGRADE. i will compare orignal post to the new build.
my new build costs 100 more than the prebuilt but thats due to a superior ssd.

my thoughts:
there is more oc on the cpu should bring them to a match while giving the extra haswell features

the ghz edition 7970 has roughly the same power as a superclocked 680 (roughly!)

more usb ports

the m5p is far superior in write speed to the m5s it even blows the vertex 4 out of the water.

they have the same hdd

again have a larger monitor. - the 100 extra pounds to downgrade the 27 inch to a 24inch and you have the same priced but superior pc.

i have won prebuilt loses Flomps and Blomps Rule
Peace,

p.s: im happier with myself.

what do you guys think?

:O EDIT: apparently my 7970 s better than the 680?
