Can't have it both ways. You can have max settings OR you can have it cheap (assuming you mean 1080p resolution - 720p you can go cheaper). Need to know the budget.

Unfortunately, your budget won't allow for this but if you get a GTX 760 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DHW4HXY/ref=as_li_q... it will be close to your budget and run games on at least high settings for the next couple years.[/quotemsg]

I agree with byo, get the 760, and yes it will work with your current mobo, but what is your PSU?

Best solution

GTX 760 is the best value for money right now. GTX 770 is faster but also much more expensive.

GTX 760 would have the added benefit of giving you awesome SLI performance at a reasonable price if you can afford to buy another one later. However seeing as you have just one PCI-e slot on your motherboard, SLI is not an option. That would make the GTX 770 a bit more attractive as a single-card solution, but it's way above your budget. It is, however, the same price as the HD 7970 recommended above, but faster and quieter.

If $400 is not too much for you, get the GTX 770. If it is too much, get the GTX 760 or GTX 670 (if available). You wont be disappointed.

And please don't forget to close the thread.

I'd add that the new R9 280X is at a price point between GTX 760 and GTX 770. It's significantly faster than the former but significantly cheaper than the latter, so it might be a good option for you. If it's available where you live.
