Can I get a gaming Processor&Mobo for Less then 450$?

Curently I am running a 970 AS Rock Extreme 3 MOBO and a AMD FX 8150 Processor OCd at 3.8ghz processor. I am looking to stream Smite and League of Legends at 1080p and currently my processor is getting up to like 90% useage and i just want to upgrade, i PREFER intel if possible, thanks!

no there isn't a big difference, but the newer the better, and with the 3570k u are left with a dead end socket

No the 4670k is just cost more for 5% performance....
not worth it but its more future proof because for the new socket

the i7 will not make any difference in games as you wont see it......
and about the cooler it supports these sockets AM3/AM2+/AM2/754/939/940 and Intel 775, 1155, and 1156

You could save money and get FX 8350. For streaming it loves those 8 cores.

i guess it should work, cuz LGA 1155 and 1150 have the same CPU cooler mounts
also about the i7 - it won't fit in ur budget with the motherboard, and there's no difference between the i5 and i7 in gaming

You would not have to change. I have the same mobo for my 8350. If you want to overclock get something like a 990fx.

Wouldn't bother with an i5. You wont see much difference. Gaming at 1080 max settings? i5, you might stream at 720. to stream at 1080 too? you would need an i7 which bursts the bank. 8350 makes more sense, It's often turned to as the budget streamers champion. And considering you can recycle the mobo? It's a no brainer.

Its likely. The 8350 equals the i7 for sheer processing power So you should be able to do 720 easily and likely 1080 although it may take some experimenting with game settings as it's not quite as efficient as the i7.

As for a reformat, I shouldn't think so? But its always good practise to back up all your documents before you mess around inside a PC. So that if you encounter a probelm that makes it necessary, it's just a question of time needed to do it rather than "oh my god, It's deleted all my scanned baby pictures" etc.
