New built pc black screen

I just recently got my new computer and every once in a while during Borderlands 2 (maximum settings) or counter strike go (max settings), The screen goes black accompanied by a Popping sound with the computer still running and the monitor saying no input signal even though all hdmi wire as secure

My specs are as follows
Core i5 3470
Radeon hd 7850
8gb corsair vengeance ddr3 1600mhz
Corsair 500cx
i also use all stock fans no overclocking whatsoever

i use an hp w2207h monitor and my motherboard is a p8h77-i mini itx i use bitfenix prodigy for the case

grab hwmonitor and check what temperatures you are gettings.

you may also want to check its not a driver problem by fresh installing your display drivers.

grab driver fusion and the latest amd beta drivers.
uninstall amd drivers and do not restart.
run driver fusion and do an amd driver clean.
install amd drivers as a custom install and only install the display and hdmi audio driver and untick everything else even catalyst control centre.

see if the driver clean helps and post back what your temps are like.

i forgot to mention my gpu is by gigabyte and theres only 1 driver for it. i also have windows 8.
my temps for both gpu and cpu are around 39 C
also, when i built my computer, some of the thermal paste came off

http://www.bitfenix.com/global/en/products/chassis/prodigy/ i got the black version with mesh for better air flow, i keep the computer in the cabinet of my desk, is that bad? All stock fans. (got AMD's drivers and it reduced the gpu temps by 10c)
