Everything was fine since the last time i was using my pc, but now i'm getting the ''reboot and select proper boot device'' massege. I tried everything i can like reconnecting the sata cables to the hard drive, trying to find any existance of the sata drive in bios and there was none, still giving me the same massege after bootup.

Btw, i had this problem before and someone fixed it for me, but he just reinstalled windows, and i do not want to do that. I also have noticed 1 sata cable coming out from my hardrive, splitting up to my power supply then to the case fan. That was the only cable.

Solution
Try a different SATA port on your motherboard. Try a different power plug (the other cable coming out of your hard drive). Try switching the SATA cable with the one on your DVD drive.
