I have $1000 to upgrade my PC but i'm still confused about what to get between the 770 and 780 gtx if i choose the 770 i would be able to buy a new MB, CPU and more RAM but if I get the 780 gtx i would buy all the other in the next months my actual rig is:

1080 Asus monitor (i won't use more than one)
i5 2500k oc 4.0 ghz
P8P67 Deluxe Asus MB
4 Gb Ram
560 ti factory oc
256 gb crucial m4
750w Seasonic PSU

Which one will have a noticeable performance? the 770 + Combo or the 780 btw i would want to play planetside 2 in ultra if that helps as reference.

Sorry if its hard to read i do my best in my english classes.

Well, get the 780 bro! If you can get everything else next month, why the hell not?? haha You'll be worry free with the 780, run everything on ultra and no lag AFTER NEXT MONTH. :)  I say this because you still have a 4gb ram. You might feel some lag but not on your games, but when you have so many applications running.

Not all games such as crysis 3, metro last light but the 780 is a beast of its own. If needed he can sli the 780s and wreck shop in the future..

Yes he can max out. Just check the youtube videos. It definitely won't run 60+ fps , but it will still be smooth without AA.

Runs? Yes. Runs at ~60FPS? No. Turn on some AA along with tessellation, AF x16, etc. and you'll get pretty crappy performance, even at 1920x1080.

To answer the OP's question, I would not recommend a GTX 780 for your setup. Your CPU is a bottleneck and I'm assuming you're not expecting to turn every settings up and expect ~60FPS. You'd actually be better off getting 2 GTX 760s and upgrading your CPU.
