I have to wait a month or so for my SSD RMA :(  so dug my old computer out of the loft. I'd done a fresh install of XP on it last time I used it and had managed to find drivers to get wired internet to work but not sound. There didn't seem to be drivers anywhere for my computer and because the computer isn't worth much I guessed. I now have blank screen. :(  Would still like to fix because not worth buying back-up computer while waiting for SSD.

No beeps happen (unless remove RAM in which case get RAM beeps). I removed the battery overnight to try reset CMOS but nothing changed. I tried plugging it into another monitor and it WORKED and booted XP until it said it had a p/n error (the specific no. returned no results on Google). :|

Can't get BIOS or anything to appear. Fans still work.

I really thought it was a monitor problem when it appeared to work.

I've looked at some threads but not sure what to do/if anything will help.

Thank you for any help.

I've got another computer but not a PSU on it's own, in fact I've never meddled with a PSU. I don't know much about that part of the computer's hardware. :(
