is there any difference with a GTX 670 2GB between 4GB?

when i go to amazon i see that theres a selection of a GTX 670 2GB with the GTX 670 4GB

the GTX 670 4GB is more expansive then the 2 GB whats the difference

what does it offer?

does it affect gaming

cause i only use my pc for gaming you see

There is about 2GB of difference. This can be handy in high resolution applications or games (or programs) which have very heavy textures, among other things. I doubt there is much of a difference, but check your favorite benchmarks to see if it is worth the money to you.

i would of gotten the GTX 770 but theres a problem

the problem is that it will not support the alienware x51 so what im doing is getting the GTX 670 cause its been said that it can run bf3 on 90 fps so when bf4 comes out the fps might be 70 or 80

so the gtx 670 isn't that bad its the best for alienware x51 il get it and il upgreat latter to the 800 series in maybe the next 3-4 years maybe

Why doesn't it support it? I see no reason as to why it wouldnt support it, also have you looked at the PSU power rating in your current PC?

well because it wouldnt fit in and theres couple of other reasons why but im not sure eitherway im getting the GTX 670 il go to the store and i buy cause the GTX 670 is really short and it will work

well i guess il just have to see, il go ask them if they can do the GTX 760 il bet it but if they cant well i guess the GTX 670
