Hey guys, here's my system

Biostar A780L3G
AMD Phenom II x 1045t @ 2.7 Ghz
GTS 450
450w PSU

I have already overclocked my graphics card successfully but I'm new to overclocking and I would like to overclock my cpu as well. I don't seem to have a whole lot of settings for overclocking but I tried to change the p-states and I have no higher options than stock speed. (x13.5 2700 hz) I'm trying to download my mobo's manual to read it right now but it's taking a while for some reason. Plus the more I learn from here, the better. Thanks in advance!

Can you increase your Front Side Bus speed (AKA: FSB)? If so you should be able to raise them to begin an overclock. I would search for FSB Overclocking guides online.

I couldn't find any FSB settings anywhere. Is it possible those settings just aren't there?

That's actually exactly my problem. If you look at the last picture in his BIOS he has tons of options for his Core FID. Whereas mine is already at the highest setting, which is stock! He says you can change the FSB but it's unstable. But I can't find that anyway. Any idea where I could find that?

Hey thanks for telling me what setting to change in my BIOS. I just now got done using my computer and turned it off and decided I should try oc'ing. I went straight to 230 and the results so far are pretty impressive. I now have better benchmark scores on Cinebench than some Core i7 processors and I turned in 4 fps better results in the OpenGL test (from 37 to 41). My only concern is heat since I have a pretty stock cooling system. What's the lowest dangerous temp for a cpu? I got up 51C to the benchmarks.
