Well am going to build my first gameing build but all so I need to make vids to so so should I go with a i5 or a i7 intell and this gameing build will have a gtx 780

If its only for gaming go for the i5 an save 100 bucks . The i7 is only if youre going to do extreme multitasking ,video editing or record while playing. In gaming the i5 and i7 are the same

If you are doing occasional gaming and video editing go with the i5. If you are a heavy gamer and you render videos often get the i7.

Like in a app called Premiere. You render and export videos which is very CPU and Graphic Card intense.

Yes i would stay with haswell. 8 cores arent being use ATM by many games and you would need to get a whole new mobo.

Yep. That's the way to go if your an Intel user. You would also save lots of $$$.

Gaming uses a nice part of RAM. So I'd definitely get at least 12gb of RAM, so 16gb would be really good. Another big factor is how fast the RAM is (mhz).
