how much do you want to pay
?for 2560x1600 is better ALOT better m and I assume it is an IPS .
and the best monitor for gaming is IPS with low ms , not the high herz
to feel the difference , you will need above 60 fps (60 hz) in games , and for that , you need a high end card .. so you will never see it.
but if you want Rich colors and great viewing angles get an IPS it is better.

There are many better monitors , this is a TN Panel very bad colors and viewing angles ..
Can you pay 370$? there is a super Gaming monitor for that price , If not tell me I recommend a Better one .

it is 1920x1200 better than 1920x1080 , AND IPS AND very good for gaming alot better than you think.

Hi - at $300 & under, you need to look at 1920x1080, you might find 1920x1200,
so your lookin at 23" or 24" monitors. Not many 24" IPS @ <$300, mostly 23's.
If you want 2560x1440 (27"), it's a lot more $$ than 300.
2560x1600 (30") are like the poster above said, starrt around $900.

2560x1440 looks WAAAAAAAAaaayyyyyyy better than 1080p
its like going from 480 to 1080p
That is assuming your GPU can pump out 40-60 FPS in games at that resolution.
You can get cheap(er) 2560x1440 displays from Korea on eBay, look into Crossover Q27 and such on eBay.
