HELP ME PLEASE >
I downloaded a program (carbon copy cloner) to to the backup of my Mac on an external hard drive.
I was asked to do HSF+ formatting partition to use my hard drive (Fat32).
Since I'm not expert in this stuffs and I wasn't clearly understanding what I was doing, I did everything without caring about consequences.
I erroneously did the partition leaving all my old files in the hard disk. These were removed immediately afterwards.
My hard drive is now empty (and the filesystem is still fat32, by the way). I've looked for softwares to recover the old files.
I've already used:
"stellar phoenix Mac Data Recovery"
"Disk Drill"
both can not find anything after scanning.

Would this mean there's nothing to do to get back my data?
Many thanks
Giulia

Well if Disk Drill couldn't find anything you may be out of luck. What version of OSX are you running?
