Hi there,

I'm building my new Pc for 3d modelling (£1200 budget) and I was wondering which is that best MB for the i7 3770k, I've seen the Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H but I rather have an ASUS....any suggestion?

thanks a lot !!

How about something like the Asus P8Z77-V Pro with Thunderbolt. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131853R It's open box but a good deal at that price. I currently use the Asus P8Z77-WS and it might as well be a Republic of Gamers Motherboard with all the features it has http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131822. I got it because it's built for 24/7 use and the fact that it would do SLI at 16x16 and quad SLI at 8x8x8x8 might have had a larger factor in my decision also.

Thank you so much for your fast reply....I have seen your MB and it's great unfortunately due to a budget problem I am not sure I can afford it...:). What do you think of the Gigabyte one? I have never had a GbyteMB are they reliable?

thanks again!
