I have HP pavilion 2500 (dv2945se) os Vista premium. I recently installed win8 and everything is quite fine but the hidden bars on the right and left have problems to appear when I approach the corners. So I can't shot down nor can I have access to mail, weather etc., but I car run the other programs. When I disable the VGA, the standard VGA is replaced by windows and everything is OK. So I think it's the VGA driver. What can I do for that. The updater can't find any better driver.

Solution
Don't use the Windows driver finder, get the drivers from HP. They may not have Win 8 drivers for your sytem though. The issue could be simply that the scren expands past the edges, make sure you are running the system at the proper resoluoition for the screen and the refresh rate is at 60.

Hi, Thanks very much indeed for your quick reply.
I played a trick and it worked! I used win driver updater but I gave it win vista directory path already on my C drive. It's working fine now and I have no problems!!
Sometimes you have it in your pocket but you go round the world for it!!
I tell you something, I went to Best Buy on last February from where I bought my laptop but they said theyhad no win8 upgrade for for this model laptop!
