Which motherboard is better?

To be honest, unless there is a specific reason that limits your purchasing choice to only those two mobos, I would not go with either of them as my first choice.

After reading the specs and reviews, I would go with the 1) ASRock Fatal1ty z87 Professional or the 2) GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-OC. IMO, the ASRock is the best bang for the buck. Keep in mind that ASRock is a subsidiary of Asus and while ASRock may have started out as the "generic" version of Asus baords, they have considerably stepped up their build quality and specs. Gigabyte has done a great job of putting out quality boards with a decent feature set. If you are set on an Asus board, check out the Asus Maximus VI Hero.

But, to directly answer your question, out of the two choices you asked about, I would go with the Z87 Pro.
