Hey guys, so I hastily bought a NH-D14 from newegg -

Just realized that there's more than likely going to be clearance issues with at least the first two DIMM slots (havn't received the NH-D14 yet) on my MSI Z87 GD65 Gaming Motherboard.
My question was, would it be possible to slightly modify either the fins on the NH-D14 or remove a portion (or all) of the heat spreaders on the Vengance RAM? Reason I want to do this is because I REALLY want to use the NH-D14, but my only option would be to just buy another set of RAM...which I don't really want to do considering I just bought these a month or two ago.... Will probably end up just sending it back and getting a new heatsink and fan though...any recommendations?
