i own a lenove H320 with the following specs
core i3 550
2gb ram
180 watts psu (as seen on the internet)
500 gb hdd
i want buy a graphics card for my pc which i want to use for gaming and for multimedia use...
will a AMD radeon hd 5570 support my system and satisfy the needs?
will i have to buy additional psu?
please suggest any better options if available..

not true, there are GPU's that it slimlines, they are called 'Low profile' and they have released the 7750 low profile card about 1 year ago, but the psu is too weak, I would suggest getting a 5450 low profile.
