I have a gtx 770, 16gb ddr3 @ 665mhz and will be getting a new processor for either board. (open to suggestions on processor)

Both of them are excellent beasts. Totally depends on:
1. your budget
2. your rig theme
3. Excessive OCing(Asus in that case)

Both boards got good reviews but I am a fan of Asus. If it is for gaming then I5 4670K but if editing/rendering I7 4770K.

I'd definitely go for the ASUS. Great mobo quality and customer support.
For the processor it depends on your budget and uses.

i currently have an i5 2500k but these boards dont support it, I will be using it for gaming not editing.
Dont want to spend mega bucks but want value for money. Would the i7 4770k not be worth it for the £60 more?

Thanks for all the help

Really if you have I5 2500K going to LGA 1050 upgrade is hardly worth it. Sandy to Ivy was 1about 10% and Ivy to Haswell 7% so not a noticeable upgrade. For gaming apart from very few games the I5 and I7 do about the same but if you go I7 you get a bigger upgrade.
