SSD will be added at a later date ad so will a cpu cooler because i have plans to overclock but that will be later in the life cycle. Any tips and suggestions would be great as im close to pulling the trigger but need to be sure this is worth it.

Gaming build, i5 would suffice bro. And yea 1666mhz would do well. Then all the money you've saved, put it on a 770. You can also upgrade your HDD to WD Black, but since you're going to get an SSD soon, it might not matter to you much. I would also suggest an HX850W for your build, IFFFF you will SLI in the future. I just thought about that since you said "long term". But if you have the budget and want to stick with the CPU and Ram of you choice, then go ahead. Goodluck. :)

If it's just for gaming then you won't need the i7, even if the build is long term. The 4670k should be good for a long while. With the money you saved there you can upgrade your card to a GTX 770 - the difference between the two is the difference between high and ultra on the latest games. Rest of the build looks pretty solid - I would stick to 1600Mhz RAM, as Haswell seems to prefer this speed to higher clocks, and you won't see a difference of fps in-game at all.
