CPU socket or Core?

Hello People,

I am wondering which is more important to keep cool

The CPU socket (CPU or TMPIN1 in HWMonitor) or the core temp?

Here is a screenshot of me in-game after 30 minutes!

My Core temp fluctuates from around 15-28 Degrees.

Egnore TMPIN2 (definitely a sensor bug otherwise I would see smoke coming out of my case)

Not had to publish a thread in a while.

Solution
Socket temps are higher at it has no heatsink so the sckt temp is not as much imp as it cant be controlled
Ur core temps are important as its having a heasink over it and it can be lowered by installing better heatsink

My final question is, in the screenshot above you see my CPU cores running at 15 degrees. Now I have used Core Temp and HWMonitor both state this temperature when I took this screenshot. Is that the actually temperature of my CPU chip? I do have a good cooling solution and my temperatures are good overall. I dont understand why the CPU socket temp is higher?
