I'm completely new to the PC side of gaming, so this is my first build. I've already chosen the GTX 760 and the FX 6300 (but these are definitely subject to change).

Approximate Purchase Date: late 2013, possibly early 2014

Budget Range: ~$700 (this does not have to include the monitor)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming

Parts Not Required: none (new to pc gaming so I need to start from scratch)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: any

Country: US

Parts Preferences: none

Overclocking: Maybe (not sure how to do it)

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe (don't even know what that is)

Monitor Resolution: preferably 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I want games to look as good as possible and run as smoothly as possible within the price range. If the GTX 760 and FX 6300 are not good options please let me know

The GTX 670 is a great option. It's more powerful than my GTX 660 which can play most games on max at 1920x1080 with 60FPS. Any of the FX CPUs will suit you fine. Are you looking for a part list of suggestions or just advice and pointers?

Depends on how soon you want it built, if your willing to wait until early 2014 I'd say wait for the christmas specials and evevrything comes out and maximize your money spent. If your looking at building it sooner, and need everything, try this:
