Athlon II x4 and HD 7790 or FX-6300 and HD 7770

Hi guys what should I choose for future proof gaming at 1366x768?

MB: ASUS M4A77T /AMD770/AM3
CPU: ATHLON II X4 645 (Unfortunatelly there is no Phenom II x4 955/965 available because the MB support it.. and its unlocked.. :pfff:
GPU: SAPPHIRE HD 7790 1GB GDDR5 DUAL-X OC

COST: 780 Leva (BGN) ~ 530$

or

MB: ASROCK M3N78D FX
CPU: AMD FX-6300 /3.5G/X6/BOX AM3+
GPU: SAPPHIRE HD7770 GHZ Edition 1G GD5

COST: 800 Leva (BGN) ~ 545$

Is it worth buying a less powerful GPU for a better CPU when your point is gaming?
If you ask me the answer is NO. But that Athlon is not unlocked so after time I cant squeeze the living s**t out of it. There wont be upgrade in very very very long period so I dont think about the socket. If I can get a Phenom II x4 955/965.. I wont ask that questions and go for the HD 7790.. because its better choice than the Athlon and its around the same price.. Also the FX-6300 is way better and it have more cores so.. I think the better choice will be the Athlon and the HD 7790.
If you can "advise" me (i forgot the other word :(.. ) for better build for max 550$ - Then give it!

I would suggest FX-6300 plus a 970 mobo (U could also pair a Phenom II X4 965/970 w/ 970 mobo, it supports AM3+ very well). 760G mobo is too weak for FX- CPUs.

If your budget is so low, go for FX-6300 and HD 7850/HD 7770/HD 7790 or gtx 650 ti (boost).(I mean that's the lowest point of future proof) .Athlon II X4 645 is obsolete now, it won't be future proof at least.

I would suggest FX-6300 plus a 970 mobo (U could also pair a Phenom II X4 965/970 w/ 970 mobo, it supports AM3+ very well). 760G mobo is too weak for FX- CPUs.

what is your current Athlon speed?my understanding is a 7790 is pretty close to the 6850 of last gen which is what I have paired to the phenom x4 955 @ 3.8ghz.40-60 fps on all new games on high setting @ 720p.my guess is that u should focus on the card.i think that's the newest of the new generation's cards so also consider waiting for the more powerful cards to hit the market or check out the 7850's.some may disagree but even @ your stock 3.1 I doubt your cpu would be much, if any bottleneck. ps 6850's are going for 50- 70$ on ebay but I hear bad things on Xfire stutter.but haven't heared anything about any improvement with the newest generation.

Since I am unsure about the costs in Bulgaria, consider the Athlon II X4 760K or 750K with an A75 or A85 FM2 motherboard and a 7850 = GTX 650 Ti Boost > 7790.

Unfortunately I wont be able to buy anything from other country :( For 970 mobo, FX-6300, 4GB RAM and HD 7850 I have to pay 950 leva (BGN) which is 640$.. So I decided not to buy a HD 7790 Dual-X OC but a "normal" HD 7790.. So this is it:
MB: [strike]ASROCK M3N78D FX[/strike] I decided to be a ASROCK 970DE3/U3S3
CPU: AMD FX-6300 /3.5G/X6/BOX AM3+
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1600 A-DATA
GPU: SAPPHIRE HD7790 1GB GD5
CASE + PSU: CM K280 W/ELITE 500W
Which costs: 548$ I think with getting the non Dual-X non OCed version I dont loosed much perfomance, because Dual-X is oced at 1075 which is only 75 mhz more than the "normal" HD7790, so I can OC it. The only thing that I "loosed" is the Dual-X cooler obviously, but I wont OC more than 100/120mhz, so I dont think the temps will be a problem.

Why did you not order 2 x 4 GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM for 8 GB? Your 6 core CPU will not have enough data to work with when you are playing and will swap between RAM and Harddisk for data storage. Memory controller on CPU is built for use with in pair with dual RAM configuration for the best use of bandwidth.
