I bought a super cheap webcam on eBay that I didn't even expect to work on my windows 7 64bit but it happens to. The only problem is that the image is really really zoomed in like the 35mm equivalent of >100mm.
Windows found a "USB 2.0 Webcam" driver for it, then I tried to update it and it updated to "Professional Financial Camera" but still the same image.
I know it's possible that it really is just zoomed in but it claims that it is 5MP so I think it's also possible that these generic drivers are getting a cropped image. The image also doesn't seem to be quite centered so that would also support that hypothesis.

These are the hardware ID's. How might I investigate this further?
