Cant connect new PC through ethernet to internet

I just put together a PC today, and I everything has been running great up until I tried connecting to the internet via Ethernet cable connected to my router. I used to use it on my old Xbox and the connection was always fine.

It's saying that I need to install a driver, help?

If it is on board Ethernet, find the manufacture download page for your specific motherboard and download the Ethernet drivers - Usually classified under the "Networking" or "LAN" sections.

Copy them onto a flash drive and install them on the new computer.

Or... If you have the driver disk for the motherboard, stick it in and find the driver on there.
