Hello,
I recently updated the BIOS on my P8P67-M ASUS board from 0805 to 3701, after this when my overall CPU usage is at 10% idle, Core 0 is at around 80% usage in Task Manager. This is in Windows 7 64bit. Overall performance has about halved due to this. Any idea what is causing this?
Thanks,
Nick

Might also run Malwarebytes and a virus scan - might have a bugI ran Malwarebytes in safe mode and no objects were found. I did a Full Virus Scan and nothing was found. Even in safe mode my CPU 0 is being tasked very hard. I do not see anything in task manager that is using my CPU. Only 2 GB of my 16GB of memory are actually being used. Any idea what is causing this?

If you see nothing at all then it's probably a driver. I suggest doing a full reinstall, it'll be faster than trying to figure out what's wrong.
